FORD STRIKES AROUND THE WORLD
"Where, after all, do universal human rights begin? In small places, close to home…the factory, farm or office where he works…unless these rights have meaning there, they have little meaning anywhere." Similar to the U.S., workers at Ford factories around the world were facing harsh conditions and unfair treatment. Encouraged by their American brethren, they organized; this action received significant attention and forced various governments to enact legislation that granted workers their rights.
